Mordellini is a tribe within the family Mordellidae that contains eight genera with 40 North American species reported. Morphological characteristics of the tibia, tarsal segments, and maxillary palpi are commonly used as a means to differentiate between genera. Phylogenies of Mordellini have been created using wing venation and male genitalia, but these studies are limited the generic level. Here we present morphological data to further investigate species level relationships for North American Mordellini and make conclusions regarding evolution of genital characters.
