Idiocerines, a large group of arboreal leafhoppers is one of the most diverse subfamilies in Madagascar. The subfamily presently contains 19 described species from Madagascar. However, recent study revealed that there are as many as 45 species. Here, we present a phylogeny based on adult morphological characters to investigate relationships of Malagasy fauna with those of other continents.
