Rearing forest entomologists: honoring David Wood, the mentor

The growth and development of forest entomologists by David Wood, Professor, University of California, Berkeley, will be profiled. The primary model system discussed will be that of my adoption by and apprenticeship under this influential mentor, who has professionally and scientifically "fathered" several generations of forest entomologists.
