Nine structures in the New Orleans area infested by the Formosan subterranean termite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki, were baited as part of a Termite Scientific Research Panel (TSRP) approved research protocol using the Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System with Recruit® HD bait. Sites were monitored approximately quarterly. Elimination of all detectable termite activity was achieved at all structures. The mean time to elimination of termites from the sites was 142 days and the mean bait required to achieve eliminations was equivalent to 1.19 Recruit HD baits.
