Members of Buprestidae and Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) are serious pests of forest, landscape, and nursery trees; attacking healthy to stressed and dying trees. Manuka oil baits have been shown to be effective at attracting emerald ash borer to traps in Michigan. Our goal was to determine if manuka oil also enhances the capture rate of native buprestids and cerambycids.
