Identification of spittlebugs and froghoppers (Hemiptera: Cercopoidea) is currently difficult because identification keys are incomplete and/or outdated, and not fully illustrated. SPITNET will be a new online taxonomic resource center for the identification of spittlebugs and froghoppers, and will feature high quality digital images of major cercopoid lineages in interactive identification keys. This poster will include examples of spittlebug images and an overview of SPITNET's identification resources.

Species 1: Hemiptera Cercopidae
