Sustained insecticide performance against whiteflies in multi-cropping systems: Past success and new challenges

Summary: The development and implementation of a novel approach to managing insecticide resistance to new insecticide chemistries for control of Bemisia whiteflies will be presented. Our efforts to promote and assess compliance to our "Cross- Commodity Guidelines for Neonicotinoids in Arizona" , as well as the challenges that growers are having and will be facing in practicing IRM in vegetable cropping systems throughout the Southwestern U.S. will be highlighted.
