LeOra Software Company developed computer software called “Polo” in the late 1990’s for conducting quantal response bioassays using probit or logit regression analyses.  The software was originally developed by Drs. Jacqueline Robertson and Robert Russell. A third version of the software was being worked on by Drs. Robertson and Moneen Jones at the time of Dr. Robertson untimely death in July, 2014. Besides updating the software, Drs. Robertson and Jones were working on a book version to be published by CRC Press in 2015.

The objective of this research was to update the Polo software according to the original work plan developed by Drs. Robertson and Jones in 2014. It includes updating the four modules: Polo JR, PoloMulti, PoloMixture, and Optidose, so that they can run on personal computers supporting Windows 7, 8, and MacOS operating systems.

The launch of the new statistical software is set for December 2015.
