Species of the genus Acalypta Fieber are known to be typically muscicolous (living on or among mosses) lace bugs. Due to this secretive habitat, these lace bugs are seldom collected by the average collector and thus little is known about their biology. Here, I present some rearing trials, feeding habits observed for the first time, and other observations on the biology of the species Acalypta lillianis.
