The entire-eyed owlflies of the Western Hemisphere are revised. Cladistic analysis of a novel morphological dataset recovered only one traditional genus, Amoea Lefebvre, as monophyletic, with the five other traditional genera paraphyletic or nested within pectinate lineages. A completely revised classification based on the cladistic results is proposed. An outline of descriptive taxonomy and nomenclature, including several species new to science, will be included.
