The subtribe Periclystina is the second largest subtribe of Dendronleontini. The group is composed by 63 species and it is divided into 10 genera; it is only found in Australia, with the exception of one species found in New Guinea. The group has many taxonomic issues, such as the poor denotation of the defining characters, that some genera are based in weak characters, which are enhanced by the little informative male terminalia. Initial results on this reasearch will be presented.
