Ichneumonidae is currently divided into seven informal subfamily groups: Brachycyrtiformes, Ichneumoniformes, Labeniformes, Ophioniformes, Orthopelmatiformes, Pimpliformes and Xoridiformes. Here we examine the status of the Ophioniformes and the phylogenetic relationships between its subfamilies using molecular data.
