An investigation has been made on the Ethanolic extract of Andrographis paniculata was evaluated for Larvicidal, Pupicidal, Adult repellency and Ovicidal properties against the Malarial vector, Anopheles stephensi. Ethanolic extract of these Andrographis paniculat plant was tested in vitro on resistant strains of Plasmodium falciparum for their anti-malarial activity. Adverse effects and regulatory status of these chemicals have high lighted the need for the development of selective mosquito control alternatives. Because plants are relatively non toxic to mammals and are even exempt from toxicity data requirements in many countries, they have been exploited a mosquito control agents. Ethanolic plant extract of Andrographis paniculata at different concentration showed greater larvicidal and pupicidal activities against different instars larvae of Anopheles stephensi. The lethal concentration (LC50 and LC90) were worked for different concentration against larvae, pupae, adult repellency and ovicidal properties. The effect on larval mortality was concentration dependent in respectively. In repellent bioassay the ethanolic plant extracts was respectively. The treatment of the eggs of various age groups of Anopheles stephensi caused only moderate ovicidal activity per su but infected. Delayed effects such as high larval and low pupal and adult mortality. The age of the eggs and the duration of the treatments also influenced the ovicidal activity.
