Room A19, First Floor (Reno-Sparks Convention Center)
A laboratory course in the natural sciences is a graduation requirement for all undergraduate students at the College of William and Mary. The course must include hands-on activities through which students will gain experiential knowledge associated with a scientific discipline as well as experience in data collection and analysis. My presentation discusses the methods I use to teach experimental design and data analysis in a laboratory course designed for the non-science major.
