To better understand the molecular mechanisms of insecticide resistance, acephate-susceptible and -resistant strains of Lygus lineolaris were subjected to a microarray analysis. Results showed that the expression levels of many genes were significantly different between the resistant and susceptible strains. Analysis of 6,688 cDNAs using microarray revealed 635 differentially expressed genes.
