An artificial feeding system for adult mosquitoes was developed. This system can be inserted into a breeding cage, has a surface area that allows mosquitoes to probe and take blood meals at will. The feeder system has been used successfully to maintain Anopheles colonies for one year. Key words: Anopheles sp. artificial feeding, blood meal
