Stink bugs (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) have been causing elevated levels of concern in caneberry producers, as in growers of other fruit and fruiting vegetable crops. Photographic and videographic means revealed that brown stink bug, Euschistus servus (Say) and green stink bug, Acrosternum hilare (Say), adults inserted their stylets were inserted between drupelets. Caged feeding trials were used to determine whether the insects were feeding on the receptacles, inside the berries.
