Both morphological and molecular phylogenies have been constructed to investigate relationships amongst the species of the crassipes and pictipes species groups of the genus Apiomerus (Reduviidae: Harpactorinae). The monophyly of both groups, and their relationship to each other is explored, as well as their potential sister taxa. Results from both phylogenies are presented and discussed.
