I developed an insect resistance management (IRM) model for European Corn Borer (ECB) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae), Ostrinia nubilalis Hubner, with a daily time-step. The model is used to study the effect cross-pollination from transgenic insecticidal corn to non-transgenic corn on the development of resistance to transgenic maize expressing Cry toxins. I, also, studied the effect of low toxin expression in Bt ear. The simulations are conducted under the two-loci-resistant-to-two-toxins population genetics scenario.
