After a single collecting trip in 2007 and two trips in 2009 and 2010 a total of 166 species of Noctuidae and 25 species of Erebidae have been documented for Valles Caldera National Monument. Eight species were discovered that were described in the last 10 years. A possible new genus and species was discovered. Nine state records were found. Comparison of collecting sites will be discussed. Species accumulation curves and predicted species richness will be discussed.
