The U.S. Department of Defense employs approximately 115 uniformed military entomologists who perform a wide range of duties including operational entomology; disease surveillance and control; research; teaching; humanitarian assistance missions; disaster relief; and many others. Positions are available in the Army, Navy and Air Force, with assignments around the world and across the United States. No prior military experience is necessary.
