Paridris is cosmopolitan genus of egg parasitoids, absent only from Madagascar. Trichoteleia is a genus endemic to Madagascar, with close relation to Paridris supported by morphological data. Multiple distinct species groups exist within the current concept of Paridris. The species of each genus are revised and the monophyly of the genera and the species groups is examined.
