The temporal occurrence and seasonal abundance of redbanded stink bug, Piezodorus guildinii (Westwood), and other stink bug (Pentatomidae) pests were monitored in Louisiana soybean during 2007-2009. Soybeans representing three maturity groups (MG 4, 5, & 6) were sampled weekly from R1 through physiological maturity. Soybean maturity groups were planted at optimal times recommended by the LSU AgCenter Cooperative Extension Service. Soybeans were planted at three broad geographical locations (Baton Rouge -South, Alexandria -Central, and Winnsboro -North.
