D0117 The possible hybridization of neighboring Neoscona spp. (Araneidae)

The area of Big Spring,TX contains populations of at least three species of the genus Neoscona(Araneidae). Apparrent morhological differences from liturature described patterns, suggest a possible hybridization event. Genetic analysis using CO1, ITS, and Actin 5C primer sets were used. The results of these experiments are provided.
