Abstract: An immunomarking system useful for determining insect movement patterns has been developed for insect pests in agricultural systems but never for insect pests of livestock. We investigated an immunomarking system on fauna that inhabit dung of pastured beef cattle. Protein markers were applied to aged dung pats and emerging insects were captured and tested for marker presence.
