Optimum® AcreMaxTM 1 Insect protection is the next step in Pioneer Hi-Bred’s commitment to delivering customers more effective and efficient below and above ground insect control solutions. Pending regulatory approval, Optimum AcreMax1 will be the first corn rootworm solution that offers both a reduction in the amount of structured refuge and a refuge-in-the-bag solution for added grower convenience and simplified refuge compliance. This poster summarizes methods used to assess the overall field performance of an insect control trait product when a low percentage of refuge plants are deployed in the field as a seed blend.
