Survey of insects and true spiders on Trifolium alexanderinum L. at Kafr El-sheikh

The aim of the study was to survey all organisms occurr on foliage, plus the diversity between recorded mite and insect species. The captured organisms were sorted to 3 categories according to their mode of living as: (a) harmful insect, (b) beneficial insect, and (c) true spiders. Results of means of 2 years revealed in 27 insect species of 16 families, and 17 beneficial insect representing 10 families. On the other hand the true spiders mites were 11 representing 8 families. The recorded harmful insects were: Therioaphis trifolii (Monall), Aphis gossypii(Glove), Sitona lividepes (Feb.), Hypera brunneipennis (Boh.), Empoasca spp., Nezara viridula (L.), Aspongopus viduatus (Var niger Fieb), Eurydema festivm (L.), Aiolopus strepens (Lattr), Euprepocnemis plorans (Charp), Heteracis littoralis (Ramb), Liogryllius bimaculata (L.), Gryllus domesticus (L.), Pieris rapae (L.), Spodoptera littoralis (Boisde), Spodoptera exigua (Hb.), Sesamia cretica (Led.), Phaneroptera rossata (Scop), Tropinota squalidae (Scop), Oxycarenus hyalinipennis (Costar), Cosmolyce baeticus (L.), Venessa cardui (L.), Scopula spp., Autograph ni (Hb.), Autographa gamma (L.), Agrotis ipsilon (Rott) and Melanophl hallma sp.While the beneficial recorded insect were: Coccinella undecimpunctata(L.), Scymnus interruptus (Goeze), Scymnus syriacus (Mars), Coccinella septempunctata (L.), Rhizobius litura (Fab.), Pullus pallidivestis (Mulus), Paederus alfierii (Koch), Apis mellifera (L.), Orius sp., Chrysoperla carnea (Steph), Sphaeropharia spp., Metasyrphus corollae (F.), Microplitis ryfiventris (Koch), Microbracon spp., Ischanura senegalensis (Ramb.), Hemianax ephippigera (Selys) and Polistes gallica (L.).However, the recorded true spiders were : Metepeira sp., Araneus sp., Albaida sp., Meioneta sp., Drapetisca sp., Pardosa sp., Thanatus sp., Lathys sp., Peakhamia sp., Micaria sp. and Pachygnath sp.
