Tubes in the Wall is an insecticide delivery system composed of perforated plastic application tubing. The system is installed into the wall voids of new homes during construction. This system has been in place for about 10 years and is currently installed in more than 200,000, but it efficacy had not been tested. Two insecticides and two propellants were tested to evaluate the quantity and distribution of insecticide along the tube. The systems efficacy in controlling peridomestic insect pests was also evaluated.
