The 2006 ESA Annual Meeting, December 10-13, 2006
- From Dr.H.G. Seetharam, Assistant Entomologist, Coffee Research Institute, India, January 25, 2007
Sir,
I am working on cerambycid, X. quadripes a serious pest of coffee in India. I had gone through some of the work carried out by you on A. glabripennis.
a. My question is eggs laid by single female can emerge in different period in a year?
b. What may be the que (signal) fof emergence? internal? or external?
c. Can we change the emergence pattern?
Since, I am working on the same group of insect, I have more to discuss with you. Hence, please guide me in future also.
With best wishes
Thanking you
Seetharam
