Development and use of Beauveria for filth fly control in animal production systems

The use of bio-pesticides like Beauveria as a viable part of a pest management program has been hindered by a number of issues including a viable production system that can provide a reliable pure conidial product, formulations and application schemes that fully utilize the advantages of Beauveria. The development of a Beauveria strain for control of house/filth flies in animal production will be discussed.
