Actual knowledge of the parasitic wasps Braconidae from the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico

Braconidae is the most important family of Ichneumonoidea in pests biocontrol. 156 Braconidae species (35 identified), 130 genera and 25 subfamilies are recorded for the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, including the material deposited in the Insects Museum of UAM Agronomia y Ciencias – UAT. The best represented subfamilies are Doryctinae, Agathidinae, Microleptinae, Alyssinae, Braconinae and Blacinae; Blacus (10 species) and Alabagrus (7 species) are the genera with more recorded species for this State.
