The nest contents of several twig-nesting Centris sp. (Apidae) in Costa Rica

There are 6 species of twig nesting Centris in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. These bees known as "oil collecting bees" each produce and provision the cells in silghtly different ways. We report on the cells and their contents.

Species 3: Hymenoptera Apidae Centris vittata
