Corn hybrids expressing Bt proteins such as cry1F and cry34/35Ab1 offer an exciting option to reduce losses from a complex of lepidopteran and coleopteran pests that attack corn worldwide. However before these products can become viable options for corn growers, numerous regulatory and product stewardship challenges must be addressed. This talk will review the major regulatory and product stewardship issues facing the industry today.
