Attracticides for control of medically important ticks

Experimental formulations based on LASTCALL technology were tested for attraction and toxicity to ticks. A novel attractant was identified, and incorporated in these formulations with other compounds known to be attractive to ticks.

Species 1: Acari Ixodidae Ixodes scapularis (Blacklegged tick)
Species 2: Acari Ixodidae Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick)
Species 3: Acari Ixodidae Amblyomma americanum (Lone Star Tick)
