FDA and food insects: Reasonable risk and regulatory issues for domestic and imported products

Insects and insect fragments as indicators of filth are regulated in the U. S. Regulating insects as a food commodity has not yet come of age. Attempts to enforce regulation that are workable are still meeting with much frustration. This presentation may use input from experiences of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum.
