Aphids as vectors of the papaya ring spot virus in Michoacán, México

A correlation among aphid numbers and papaya ringspot epidemics was found. Aphids on yellow water pan traps were more abundant that those on green water pan traps.

Species 2: Homoptera Aphididae Myzus persicae (green peach aphid)
