The effect of bait placement on pharaoh ant (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) control

The effects of a peanut oil bait containing the active ingredient fipronil were investigated against Pharaoh ants, Monomorium pharaonis (L.). Efficacy and consumption data from choice and no-choice laboratory tests will be presented. The experiments were conducted at three distances and under three different food/bait placements.
