A phylogeny of the paper wasps (Vespidae: Polistinae), using morphology, behavior, and molecules

A comprehensive phylogeny of the principal group of social wasps, Polistinae, is offered based on adult and larval morphology, construction behavior (nest architecture), and DNA data. We address the monophyly of groups of particular interest and the validity of certain traditional viewpoints.
