Tarnished plant bug (TPB), Lygus lineoliris (Palisot de Beauvois) is a damaging pest of cotton grown in Mid-south U.S. Efficacy of several insecticides against late-instar TPB nymphs and young adults were evaluated and compered to acephate, the most widely utilized insecticide in cotton.
