Since 1997 funnel traps have been maintained at Virginia Ports of Entry for exotic wood boring beetles.  Although the survey is intended for Cerambycidae and Scolytinae, it commonly intercepts non target beetles in the Family Buprestidae. Geographical and temporal information is preserved for each specimen and presented.  Project funded by the Cooperative Agriculture Pest Survey and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
