How Broward College and the University of Florida became BFF’s and how your institutions can do it too!

Broward College (BC) is a large college within the Florida State Community College System that recently launched a workforce BS degree (Environmental Science: Biosecurity) with the support and collaboration of the University of Florida (UF).  The UF Ft. Lauderdale Research and Education Center is located across the street from Broward College and a collaborative relationship was long overdue.  The relationship has resulted in increased enrollment at both institutions and expanded opportunities for locally bound students.  The authors present best practices, successes and advice for similar institutions from our 3 years of development and the inaugural year.
