Interactions between ecosystem services can occur indirectly when organisms that provide different services are affected by a common environmental driver, e.g. if the provision of wildflower plantings has effects on both pollinators and natural enemies to crop pests. They can also be the result of one service directly affecting the level of another service, e.g. when crop pollination services are dependent on the level of pest control. I will present examples from completed and ongoing research from multiple cropping systems which supports the idea that both types of interactions should be expected. These interactions need to be better understood to manage for multiple ecosystem services in agroecosystems.
