The first endemic population of blacklegged ticks in Manitoba, Canada, was discovered in 2006. Since then, surveillance efforts have documented the rapid expansion of the species in the province. This presentation will offer an overview of the past and current situation of blacklegged ticks and associated pathogens in Manitoba.
