Efficacy of Termidor® SC and Alpine® WSG on tawny crazy ant, Nylanderia fulva (Mayr) Hymenoptera: Formicidae, in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana

Termidor® SC and Termidor® SC in combination with Alpine® WSG were applied around structures in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana to examine their efficacy on reducing densities of tawny crazy ants, Nylanderia fulva (Mayr) Hymenoptera: Formicidae.  Densities of tawny crazy ants were sampled at 0, 7, 13, 24, and 55 days post treatment.  Densities of tawny crazy ants were significantly reduced in treated areas compared to untreated areas for 55 days.
