The Erythraeidae occupy every continent, except Antarctica, from the seashore to the mountains and deserts.  They can be found from the soil surface to the tops of trees.  Despite the wide range of habitats, the family is poorly known.  We will be presenting morphological data on adaptations in the Erythraeidae to deal with desert environments.
