Nodal injury scores in non-corn rootworm traited and Herculex rootworm traited hybrids varied in different environments/years and hybrid background influenced the amount of damage observed.  When these same hybrids were grown under ideal growing conditions in the greenhouse we did not observe the same variation in nodal injury scores.
