The omnivorous leaftier was one of the key agricultural pests in W. Oregon field crops during the first half of the 20th century. Thanks to detailed agricultural experiment station reports, we constructed a phenology model to support managment of this pest of today in nursery, strawberry, grains, and other crops. We present the steps used to build the model to meet current needs, highlighting features of the www.uspest.org decision support website.
