The Häagen-Dazs Honey Bee Haven is an educational garden on the University of California, Davis campus devoted exclusively to bee pollinators.  Our mission is to educate on the importance of pollinator conservation for crop and wild plants and to inspire the planting of other pollinator gardens.  The half-acre garden is open every day at no charge and guided tours are available.  To overcome limited staffing for outreach and education we make extensive use of social media, a web page, and an onsite wireless system coupled with Quick Response tags. We have documented substantial increases in impact with the use of these tools.  Ongoing challenges include securing stable, long-term funding and meeting increasing demand for guided tours and other programs.
