Two new species of the genus Onychiurus is described from Korea (Jeoksang Mountain in Muju). The family Onychiuridae belongs to order Poduromorpha in class Collembola and approximately 614 species in 56 genera have been known to be distributed all over the world. The genus Onychiurs was elected by Gervais in 1841 with type species Podura ambulans Linneus, 1758. 49 specis of Onychiurus have been reported worldwide, of which only one species, O. polychaetosus, have been recorded from Korea. This genus is characterized by postantennal organ with compound vesicles, antennal Ⅲ sense organ with 2 sensory clubs, furca reduced to a small area of fine ganulation with 2+2 posterior setulae arranged in a row, seta d0 on a head and anal spines present. Two new species, Onychiurus sp.1 and Onychiurus sp.2, described from Korea. The two new species share most features with Onychiurus, but 11 chaetae in the distal whorl of tibiotarsus and three manubrial rows of chaetae present. Onychiurus sp.1 has AntⅢ sense organ with 2 curved sensory clubs and ThⅠ tergum with 10+10 chaetae. Onychiurus sp.2 characterized by AntⅢ with 2 not bent sensory club and ThⅠ with 7-8+7-8 chaetae.
