Several miticides were used against European red mite, Panonychus ulmi (Koch) for multiple growing seasons, including Nealta, Envidor 2 SC and Zeal WDG. Nealta was used with 2 different adjuvants (Tactic and HM9425C). Mites were counted regularly pre and post miticide application to determine efficacy results. In 2012 and 2013 all treatments effectively controlled European red mites several weeks post application. Predatory mites,Typhlodromus pyri (Scheuten) were low through out all the trials, due to chemicals used to flare red mite populations. Data from the 2014 trial was not generated at the time of this submission.
